SPECIFICATIONS OF SECTIONAL OVERHEAD GARAGE DOORS

  • Highly recommended for adverse weather conditions.
  • Suitable for single or double doors.  Can be custom-made to suit opening.
  • Non-protruding so that vehicles can park close to door, both inside and outside the entrance.
  • Tracks and hinges are hot dipped galvanised steel for maximum corrosion protection, with robust ball bearing rollers that ensure smooth, trouble free operation.
  • The door’s wedging action excludes dust, wind and weather seals on the sides can be added and the bottom seal are standard.
  • Can be used where headroom is limited, i.e. less than 250 mm, using double tracks or special “low headroom” tracks.
  • Sectional overhead garage doors are the most frequently specified door mechanism by the professional sector.
  • Available in torsion hardware sets.
  • Doesn’t have limited height restriction for higher than normal vehicles.
  • Standard doors consist of 4 or 5 hinged panel sections per door.  Special height doors are also available on request.
  • Supplied with a slide bolt for locking purposes on non-automated doors.
  • A chrome-plated centre lock with dual catches and cables is available as an optional extra for garage with no internal door.

  • Protruding canopy design for balanced operation.
  • Reliable, tried and tested jamb type hardware for both single and double doors.
  • Bushed pivot shaft on a robust hinge plate for longer life and safer operation.
  • Closing buffers fitted as standard on door panels to prevent damage.
  • Galvanised multi-plate “kicker plate” assembly to assist with opening and to dampen closing movement.
  • Requires minimum headroom for installation.
  • Padlock slide bolts is available as an optional extra.
  • Single and double tip-up doors allow for safety cables as a safety measure to prevent injury from springs snapping.
